Last October saw the release of the debut collection from The Broken Teeth, followed by several small runs of limited T's. As the founder states 'Numbers are limited and final. I do not plan on reprinting, I don't dwell on stuff'.

Last month we were visited by TBT, a photographer and a small film crew to record the new, very limited T's being printed throughout the whole process.

Take a look at the TBT site for more info and where to buy, or you might like to check out The Daily Street review to catch the video teaser promoting the release.

Exciting times for this new label, we are expecting big things...

		<description>9th May 2012

Last last month, Brighton's Blind Tiger Club held host to the Art Noise event LOST, where the usual eclectic mix of photography, art and music collide.

Unlike the last evening events over the past year, LOST took up a whole day and night on a cram packed Sunday. Not deterred by the riots happening right outside the venue, the event was a great success.

We were joined by local photographers Dar Barrow and Scott Anderson, along with the brilliant Photo Booth Boutique, beautiful jewellery by Kirstin Stride, live bands, DJ's and of course screen printing by ourselves. As with every live event, we invited the public to 'pull' our exclusive design for themselves to take home and keep.

Keep an eye on the Art Noise Events Page for more up and coming arts-based-noisiness!

Last Friday, Brighton's independent gallery No Walls played host to Lick Your Own Wounds, a solo exhibition by I-LIB (I LURK IN BUSHES).

He is influenced by human motives, hopes and fears the Edwardian style imagery is translated by the sensitive eyes of the artist into poetic visions with surreal and dreamlike atmospheres of anthropomorphic subjects and there relationship’s as they revolve around Love, Hate, Life and Death which is so apparent in his work.

As part of this extraordinary exhibition, I-LIB wanted a small run of screen prints, one colour, on a vintage Somerset 300gsm stock, so that he could individually hand finish them in ink. The outcome, 25 unique prints, were available to view and purchase on the evening.

If you missed the opening, get down to No Walls, or visit them online. Alternatively, check out No Wall's short video to give you a taster into the mind of I-LIB and his work.

		<description>1st May 2012

Back in 2010 British Telecom launched the BT Art of Sport programme which aims to showcase the work of a number of artists using various media to produce works inspired by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

One such artist and friend of Parliament PINS has produced a number of designs commemorating the event. As an artist born and bred in London, PINS is feels there is nowhere else on earth that the Olympic and Paralympic Games would be more at home. He believes other will be inspired by a city with such history and diversity.

Along with a selection of hand painted acrylic pieces, PINS wanted to have two designs screen printed which we were more than happy to help with!

His piece 'Olymkicks' was a challenge as it was designed to incorporate mixed media. Both A2 pieces are limited to only 10 prints, so keep an eye on PINS site for where to buy or catch the exhibition at the Lewis Elton Gallery and Surrey Sports Park.

THANKS PINS!

		<description>13th March 2012

From 22nd March - 1st April, Somerset House will be showcasing it's annual contemporary graphic art fair 'Pick Me Up' for what's billed to be it's biggest edition yet.

Exhibited will be the best new work from around the UK and the world with original works and prints available to purchase. One such artist is Tim McDonagh, a local illustrator who wanted his work screen printed for the event and of course Parliament of Feathers were happy to help!

Tim's talent for detail, using traditional brush and ink, lends it's self to the medium bringing his A1, 4 colour and A3 2 colour illustrations to life. To see more of his work visit his site Visit Tim's site or if you're in London at the end of the month, pop in to Somerset House and check out Pick Me Up.

Last month we were asked by FRONT Magazine to print a limited run of two colour illustrations, designed by 18 of FRONT's favourite artisits. Each piece is a limited edition run of 20 A2 prints, some of which have sold out already!

They were exhibited for a week in The Black Heart , a drinking establishment hidden on the middle of Camden. It kicked off with a raucous opening party and Parliament of Feathers were there to help celebrate the event! To check out some of the photos from the night, visit FRONT's Party Hard page.

With talent exhibiting such as God Machine, Drew Millward, Mr Gauky, Luke Dixon, Luke Drozed and Waste Studio, to name but a few, the event was a great success. If you missed out on the event and want to get your hands on one of these prints, never fear, they are available at the FRONT shop.

Last month we were contacted by Scottmove, a London based artist who specialises in hand rendered black ink illustrations. He wanted Parliament to print 2 of his intricate hand drawings, which was refreshing, not a computer generated image in sight!

Scottmove has had his artwork featured in numerous magazines, designed album artwork and has been published in several collaborative books. He can also be found tattooing at Haunted Tattoo Studio in Holloway, North London, to add a sting to his bow!

To get your hands on one these limited prints, 'Hate, Loss, Suffering,Pain' and 'The End of Everything', or just to check out his artowrk, visit the Scottmove site.

We've been printing WEGROWBEARDS band Tees for a while now and we just wanted to shout about how flippin great they are!

For those of you that don't know, the guys from WEGROWBEARDS write songs about history related topics usually with a social or political undertone, hence the T-shirt designs.

Check out their sound and buy one of their T's, at £5 a time, you can't go wrong! Keep an eye on their Facebook page for gig listings.
